The online education news outlet said the transcript gives Elon graduates "a distinct advantage in interviewing processes over competitors."
Education Dive, a national education news outlet, on Wednesday highlighted Elon’s visual experiential transcript, an offering piloted with Elon’s Class of 2016.
The transcript offers an infographic that presents a student’s participation in areas such as service, undergraduate research, leadership, internships and global engagement.
Education Drive notes that the transcript “allows Elon students to have a distinct advantage in interviewing processes over competitors, because it provides a cost-effective tool of assessing a student’s interest and work ethic while covertly showing their institution to be a step above in preparation and rigor, thanks to the attention to detail in the transcript.”
