As you make preparations for Homecoming weekend at Elon, be aware that some activities will impact traffic patterns.
Please be advised that a section of East Haggard Avenue between North Williamson and North O’Kelley avenues will be closed on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, from 3:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. for Rock the Block, a new event for Elon’s 2016 Homecoming celebration that will feature a fair-like environment with family friendly activities and all-age entertainment.
Police will be on hand to direct traffic around the closure.
The Town of Elon, Elon University, and the N.C. Department of Transportation remind motorists to watch signs for closure information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
