Carol Oakley, secretary in the vice president for student life’s office, will appear on the WFMY-TV 2 morning show Thursday, Oct. 7, demonstrating the proper way to shag dance.
Oakley, who teaches shag classes at the BMOC outlet center in Burlington will appear several times throughout the program, which airs from 5:30-8 a.m. She will be joined by WFMY reporter Tracey Grayzer and Tripp Turner, another local dance instructor. Several local disc jockeys who play shag music are expected to appear on the program as well.
