The Pendulum and Colonnades won Best of Show awards, while several students were honored for their reporting, design, photography and writing.
The Pendulum (the newspaper of the Elon News Network), Colonnades literary magazine and Phi Psi Cli yearbook were awarded individual and Best of Show awards Feb. 25 by the North Carolina College Media Association at its 2017 conference. The event was held at Elon University and featured more than 20 Elon faculty, staff, students and alumni as presenters, lecturers and event organizers.
Hundreds of entries from more than 20 media outlets submitted materials for awards consideration. Below is a list of only the Elon winners. (Numbers next to the names indicate the place students finished in a particular category.)
