The competition offers Elon students the chance to demonstrate their data analytics and visualization skills to professionals in the data analytics community.
The Center for Organizational Analytics has partnered with HanesBrands to offer the 2017 Elon Champion Analytics Challenge for Elon undergraduate and graduate students.
In three-person teams, students will analyze rich anonymized customer and product data from HanesBrands and present their findings to a panel of HanesBrands executives. The first-place team will receive $1,500 and sponsorship to participate in a national analytics competition.
Team applications are due Sept. 8. Accepted teams will receive full data access on Sept. 18 and submit their data solution on Oct. 4. Final presentations will be delivered on Oct. 5. Winning teams will be selected by HanesBrands executives.
The challenge is sponsored by Elon’s School of Communications, Elon College, the College of Arts & Sciences, and the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business.
