Elon is currently accepting materials from students interested in the Jack Kent Cooke Graduate Scholarship. This scholarship is for graduating seniors or recent graduates who are admitted into a graduate program that begins in Fall 2005. The scholarship awards up to $50,000 annually for up to six years. Elon is permitted to nominate two students who can apply for this national competition. Selection criteria include a 3.5 GPA or better; academic ability and achievement; unmet financial need; will to succeed; leadership and public service; critical-thinking ability; appreciation for or participation in arts and humanities. If you meet these criteria and you are currently applying for graduate school, please contact Dr. Janet Myers, Associate Director of the Honors Program, for more information about how to be considered for a nomination. The deadline to submit your materials to Elon is January 31; the application deadline for national competition is in April.
