Aaron Trocki, assistant professor of mathematics, and Maddie Jaudon, applied mathematics major, presented their research at the Research in Undergraduate Mathematics Education Conference in San Diego, California on Feb. 22-24, 2018.
Aaron Trocki and Maddie Jaudon were selected to present on their peer-reviewed paper entitled: “Surveying Professors’ Perceptions of Incorporating History into Calculus I Instruction.” They shared data and findings on Calculus I professors in North Carolina and their beliefs and applications of incorporating the history of mathematics into teaching and learning.
