Ross Wade and Brooke Buffington presented “Design Thinking: Develop Your Team to Better Engage Students and Campus Partners” at the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) annual conference in New Orleans on June 6.
More than 100 attendees participated in a life-sized Chutes and Ladders game created by Buffington and Wade as a way to walk them through the design thinking process. Presentation attendees gained a better understanding of the design thinking process and how to use perspective-taking and empathy mapping to grow intercultural skills and better work with students and university partners.
