Doehler presents at international statistics conference

Kirsten Doehler, associate professor of statistics, presented on “Diversity-Related Projects in an Introductory Statistics Course” at the 10th International Conference on Teaching Statistics held July 8-13 in Kyoto, Japan. 

Participants in this ICOTS session were from the United States, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, and Australia.
Kirsten Doehler, associate professor of statistics, presented on “Diversity-Related Projects in an Introductory Statistics Course” at the 10th International Conference on Teaching Statistics held July 8-13 in Kyoto, Japan.

The presentation, which introduced results from using diversity-based projects in a statistics course, is based on a joint research project with fellow statistics faculty member Laura Taylor, associate professor of statistics.
