Find out more information and download instructions for the app, which will support New Student Orientation and other events throughout the year.
In less than two weeks, Elon University will welcome to campus more than 1,700 new and transfer students as New Student Orientation for the Class of 2022 gets underway. Helping support the needs of these students and families as they become part of the Elon community will be Elon University Guides, a mobile app that’s seen great success since launching in 2015.
Elon University Guides provides information about important events including New Student Orientation, Family Weekend and Homecoming. Some of the features include customizable schedules and to-do list, an interactive campus map, information about on-campus resources, driving directions, social media, and more. Users can also receive push notifications on their smartphones.
For students new to Elon and their families, the app will prove to be a valuable resource as they navigate New Student Orientation and get to know Elon’s expansive campus. Students, parents and guests can start to use this pre-arrival resource to help ensure a smooth transition as they arrive at Elon.
A schedule within the app offers an overview of orientation, and individual events include maps to the locations where they will be held. The schedule can also be customized for first-year students, guests or transfer students.
Follow the instructions below to download the app and take some time to explore it before Move-in Day. If you have any questions about the app, or any questions about Orientation in general, feel free to contact the office at (336) 278-7000 or nstp@elon.edu.
