Founded in 1954, Boston Camerata has fascinated and charmed audiences in Europe, Singapore, Israel, Japan, Mexico and Canada. Under the direction of Joel Cohen, their recordings have garnered extensive recognition, including numerous international awards. Their program will be a provocative mix of early art song and modern folksong, illustrating the transmission of high and popular culture from Renaissance Europe to North America.
Tickets for the performance are $12 or free with Elon identification. Tickets may be purchased at the McCrary Theatre box office at (336) 278-5610. The box office is open from 12:30 p.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
