Michael Salmond, assistant professor of digital art, is presenting a paper titled “Metaphoric, Invisible, Intuitive: The
Adaptive Interface” at the College Art Association annual conference on Thursday, Feb. 17. This is the national conference for the flagship American art and art history association in this country. Salmond is part of the panel discussing “interrogating Interfaces.” Salmond’s paper replaces the redundant desktop metaphor with an interface based on elements of simplicity, play and adaptability.
