Math and Statistics Department recognizes student accomplishments at Senior Celebration

Elon alumna, Jaime Speiser '10, assistant professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Data Science at Wake Forest School of Medicine, provided the keynote address at the May 8 awards ceremony for the Math and Statistics Department.

​This event recognized graduating seniors, award and scholarship winners, and national honor society, pi mu epsilon and mu sigma rho, inductees.  

Senior Award winners included Aiden Draper, for outstanding research and experiential learning in statistics, Marcel Fahrenholz, for outstanding achievement in statistics, Jamie Bottino, for outstanding achievement in mathematics, and Morgan Ferguson and Sarah Kapinos, for outstanding achievement in both mathematics and statistics.
