Bernard Coston, freshman from Virginia is the winner of the $150 Minority Male Book Award sponsored by Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.
In an essay examining his personal definition of scholarship, one of Phi Beta Sigma’s principles, Coston proclaimed, “Scholarship means power!” Coston also explained his strong desire to help his local community upon graduation from Elon.
