Crenshaw essay chosen for Best American Essays

An essay by Paul Crenshaw, assistant professor of English, will be included in Best American Essays 2005.

Titled “Storm Country,” the ssay was originally published in Southern Humanities Review.

Best American Essays is a yearly anthology edited by Robert Atwan and published by Houghton Mifflin. Recent contributors include Wendell Berry, Edward Hoagland, Scott Russell Sanders, William Gass, Joyce Carol Oates and Nicholson Baker.
