Three contestants in the upcoming Miss North Carolina Scholarship Pageant have connections to Elon.
Incoming freshman Kasey Elise Waters will represent Cabarrus County. Junior Katherine Elizabeth Southard is Miss Mecklenburg County, and Miss Thomasville, Dorothy Elizabeth Cowan, is a 2005 Elon graduate.
The 2005 Miss North Carolina Pageant will be held June 21-25 at the BTI Center in Raleigh.
