The 30-minute public affairs program recently aired on public television stations in North Carolina and South Carolina.
President Connie Ledoux Book recently appeared as a featured guest on Carolina Business Review, a weekly public affairs program that airs on stations in North Carolina and South Carolina.
Book joined host Chris William as well as fellow guests Leslie Boney from the Institute of Emerging Issues at N.C. State University and Som Konduros from SCBIO to discuss a variety of higher education topics. Among those topics was Elon’s focus on global engagement and the impact that has on students.
“We are celebrating 50 years of study abroad at Elon,” Book said. “A commitment to the global mindset is needed.”
Responding to a question about the cost of a college education, Book noted the value proposition of an Elon education, given its high graduation rate and the support for career services students receive while at Elon.
