Paula Rosinski, professor of professional writing & rhetoric and director of Writing Across the University in the Center For Writing Excellence will be sharing a workshop on “Strategies for Designing Multimodal Writing Assignments.”
Writing is increasingly multimodal, including images, audio, film, and genres such as infographics, podcasts, and explainer videos are increasingly popular. This workshop will give a broad overview of how faculty might design multimodal writing assignments or assign multimodal genres to achieve learning and writing outcomes for different disciplines.
The workshop will take place on Monday, Nov. 18, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Belk Library Room 102. Lunch will be provided so please register.
