March 9 Voices of Discovery event cancelled

“Transforming the Health of Communities through Innovations in Social Computing,” the presentation by Andrea Grimes Parker scheduled for Monday, March 9, has been cancelled.

Parker’s appearance was as part of the Voices of Discovery speaker series sponsored by Elon College, the College of Arts and Sciences.

The next scheduled Voices of Discovery event is 7 p.m. April 6. Scott L. Delp will present about “Harnessing Big Data to Optimize Human Movement and Health” at McCrary Theatre. Delp is the James H. Clark Professor of Bioengineering and Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University, the director of the National Center for Stimulation in Rehabilitation Research, and the director of the NIH Mobilize Center.
