Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA overall and a 3.0 GPA minimum in upper-level accounting and finance classes to be eligible for membership. Additionally, they must meet the requirements for both service and attendance at professional meetings. The chapter requires six hours of service within BAP and two hours of service outside the chapter each semester.

Beta Alpha Psi holds weekly meetings with guest speakers to inform students about their industry or firm. Students expand their professional networks and increase their knowledge about financial information professions by engaging with the speakers and asking questions about potential careers.
