The Office of Alumni Engagement offers virtual opportunities for alumni to remain engaged.
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Office of Alumni Engagement continues to see its role as a positive force in a lifelong relationship between alumni and Elon. While all in-person alumni chapter events scheduled for the spring have been postponed, the alumni team is working to make an intentional shift in how to engage with alumni.
“The Elon alumni engagement staff will work remotely but stay committed to keeping our network connected and being a meaningful part of your life,” said Brian Feeley ’03, senior director of alumni engagement and annual giving. “In the days and weeks ahead, you will still hear from us about virtual events, professional development and networking opportunities online, and ways to have fun across all ages and stages of our 35,000-person alumni family.”
As part of this effort, alumni staff will offer a series of professional development webinars in April, including:
- “How to Thrive in a Remote Working Environment” on April 1
- “Fifteen Ways to Protect & Build Reputation During Crisis” on April 8

Details about professional development webinars and other upcoming virtual events will be announced on the Elon Alumni Facebook page and shared by email.
In the meantime, alumni are encouraged to join LifelongElon.com, a virtual platform that provides alumni with resources to grow as learners, connectors and mentors. The entire Elon community is also invited to join a Virtual College Coffee every Tuesday from 9:40 – 10:20 a.m. For questions, contact alumni@elon.edu or (877) 784-ELON.
