New Student Orientation has the distinct pleasure of announcing the 2006 Head Staff team with plans for an exciting year. It all begins Nov. 8 when applications to be an orientation leader will be available in Moseley 226. The application deadline is Feb. 10.
Led by Mallory Anderson, director of new student orientation and organization development, and Rex Waters, associate dean of students, the Head Staff team will be responsible for recruiting, selecting, and training more than 90 orientation leaders who will assist new students in the transition from their high school into the Elon community. The team is also responsible for planning and implementing various activities throughout Opening Weekend for the class of 2010.
“Being an Orientation Leader was one of the most intense and exhilarating weeks of my life,” says Ian Hull, an orientation leader the last two years. “It was one of the best experiences I have had here at Elon!”
