Elon will observe Hispanic Heritage Month from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15 with a lineup of events designed to celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of the Latinx/Hispanic communities to the United States.
The university will provide students, faculty, staff and members of the surrounding community with a mix of in-person and virtual events to celebrate, learn about and engage in dialogue with those who identify as Latinx/Hispanic. All are encouraged to use this time to learn about those with identities different from their own and to explore new ways of thinking, new connections and new cultures.
