The Cambridge Scholars Press has accepted a proposal by Chandana Chakrabarti, associate professor of religious studies, to publish a book on “Religion and Politics of War.” Chakrabarti will serve as co-editor of the book, which includes a number of articles by eminent scholars.
Chakrabarti has signed a contract with the Press, with the book expected to be published in fall 2006. The book will be an excellent resource for graduate students and faculty working in the area of the role of politics in religion and war.
