Glaesel has been awarded a 2001 Fulbright-Hays grant to study contemporary and social issues in Argentina. She will use the grant to enhance her own courses with Latin American content. The grant will also allow Glaesel to strengthen Elon’s links to the region by formally assessing Elon’s study abroad program in Argentina, identifying internship opportunities and gathering program-specific materials.
Glaesel also received a Fulbright to do dissertation research in Kenya in 1995-96, and another to obtain advanced Swahili language training in Tanzania in 1995.
