Five seniors from Elon's Campus Recreation program have earned graduate assistantships to pursue careers in college/university recreation.
The students and the schools they will be attending are listed below:
Shannon Carpenter – University of Kentucky
Meghan Dillon – University of Mississippi
Jay Iorizzo – Texas A&M University
Devon McCaffrey – North Carolina State University
Cara Wise – Central Michigan University
Campus Recreation is a student-led program that provides a forum for the practical application of classroom theories while fostering professional competencies. In the past three years, nine Campus Recreation employees have been awarded graduate assistantships in some of the nation’s leading university recreation programs.
