Beathard, a former Elon football player, collaborated with Kenny Beard and singer Aaron Tippin on the song, titled “Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagles Fly.” It was recorded by Tippin in Nashville as a response to the terrorist attacks. The piece was written more than two years ago, but wasn’t released until Tippin realized it was a perfect song for people looking for patriotic inspiration in the wake of the tragedies in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.
The recording is being sold by Lyric Street Records. Proceeds from the sales are being donated to the American Red Cross.
