The chorus is composed of troopers from every unit of the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. Since its formation in 1967, the chorus has traveled the world, performing for troops in Grenada and Saudi Arabia, as well as governors and military dignitaries. The chorus has performed for special events and dignitaries, such as the Coca-Cola 600 auto race, the Jerry Lewis Telethon and a 1991 tribute to Bob Hope.

The concert will immediately follow Elon’s annual holiday celebration on Scott Plaza, scheduled for 6:30 p.m., which includes luminaries and Christmas carol singing.
