Dan Callaway, a 2000 Elon graduate, has landed a role in the national tour of “Phantom of the Opera” and will join the traveling theatre company Feb. 25 in St. Louis, Mo.
Callaway, a music theatre major, auditioned for the role in New York Feb. 6. He will play in the ensemble and will be the understudy for the character Raoul in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s famous play.
Callaway has landed other key roles during his career, in productions of “The Lost Colony” on the North Carolina coast and “Little Women” in London.
