More than 75 members of Elon's Parents Council met on campus March 8-9. Details...
The council members
-learned more about their potential involvement with Elon,
-toured Danieley N with Residential Life staff,
-dined off campus with various staff and students, and
-were welcomed at Maynard House for dessert.
-received an Elon update from President Leo M. Lambert,
-became better informed about Elon’s admissions policies,
-held committee meetings to provide input and discussion on:
admissions
careers
communication
events
student life and
development
-planned their summer ‘welcome new family’ picnics
-recognized parents of graduating students,
-turned leadership over from D’Angelos to Courtneys and
– toured the academic village area and Cantina Roble.
New families who have joined Parents Council from the
Class of 2005 number 33. Other families from 2002, 2003
and 2004 number 96.
We are grateful for the strong support given to Elon by
this Parents Council and appreciate each Parents
Council family volunteering their time and contributing
their resources to Elon University.
