Members of the class of 1952 returned to Elon May 24 to celebrate their graduation 50 years ago. Twenty-two classmates came, one as far away as Florida, for a campus bus tour led by Earl Danieley, president emeritus, a luncheon and a campus update by President Leo M. Lambert. Medallions and Golden Alumni certificates were given to each alum. The group processed at Baccaluareate, wearing gold robes to signify their entrance into the Golden Alumni Association, whose members include those who have been alumni for 50 years or more.
This is the second year that alumni of 50 years have been asked to participate in and be honored at the Baccaluareate service.
