The 3 1/2 minute story, by NBC national correspondent Bob Faw, included footage from Sullivan’s speech Under the Oaks, as well as interviews with Sullivan, President Leo M. Lambert and student David Acuff. The feature also contained footage of Sullivan at work in his office, on the steps of Whitley Auditorium and speaking with religion professor Jeffrey Pugh before Commencement.
Faw, along with NBC producer Victoria Duncan, visited campus May 20-21 to conduct interviews and gather video for the story.
