A team of faculty, staff and students participated in “Organized for Learning,” a summer academy held July 17-21 in Mt. Snow, Vt.
The Elon team, which received a $6,000 grant from the American Association for Higher Education (AAHE) to participate in the academy, focused on planning work for the development of the university’s Center for Creativity in Learning and Teaching. The team explored ways to incorporate both faculty and student feedback in the center, which will promote innovative and engaging approaches to teaching. They also discussed strategies for integrating Project Interweave, an Elon initiative which is part of the university’s participation in the Carnegie Foundation’s Scholarship of Teaching and Learning program, into the center.
