Phi Kappa Phi to host conference Sept. 27

The Elon chapter of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s largest and most prestigious interdisciplinary academic honor society, will host a sub-regional conference Friday, Sept. 27

The conference will attract approximately 50 students and faculty from North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. Phi Kappa Phi President Wendell McKenzie will attend, and Elon President Leo M. Lambert will address the lunch session.

Sessions will focus on improving chapter activities, involving more students and improving students’ chances in fellowship and scholarship competitions. The chapters will also have time to brainstorm about other ways to increase Phi Kappa Phi’s effectiveness on their own campus.
