Andy Angyal, professor of English, recently received a $1,000 travel grant from the Thomas Berry Foundation in Washington, D.C., to defray travel expenses related to interviews and research for his biography of the renowned author.
The Thomas Berry Foundation is a private, non-profit foundation dedicated to the advancement of the thought and work of Thomas Berry. A native of North Carolina, Berry is described in a recent profile as “one of today’s most probing thinkers on the human relationship with the natural world and its implications for religion.”
