Stephen Zunes, a political analyst and associate professor of politics at the University of San Francisco, will discuss U.S. policy in the Middle East and the root causes of terrorism at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 30 in Yeager Recital Hall. His visit is co-sponsored by the Political Science Department, the Chaplain’s Office and the Non-Violence Studies minor.

Zunes is a frequent analyst and commentator on NPR, Pacifica Radio, Fox Network and the BBC. His op-eds have appeared in the Washington Post and Christian Science Monitor. He has written numerous articles on Middle Eastern politics, U.S. foreign policy and international terrorism.
