Recruiters from organizations such as LabCorp, the US Marine Corps, FOX-8 television and Wells Fargo Financial were in Alumni Gym to meet with students about career opportunities. Several graduate schools, including the NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Wake Forest University’s Babcock School of Management, also sent representatives. Among the company representatives at the event were eight Elon alums.

Jim Allison, associate director of the career center, said the event drew more than 560 students last year, and he expected a similar turnout at Thursday’s event.

Students from other North Carolina Career Consortium schools, such as Greensboro College, High Point University and Guilford College, were also welcome at the fair.
