The Rugg’s list of 100 “Just Darn Good Schools” is based on a survey of 1,042 secondary school counselors. They responded to the question: “What colleges do you believe offer students the best opportunity to maximize their education?” Only three other North Carolina colleges make the list.
Elon is also noted for its business administration, communications and education programs.
Rugg’s Recommendation is edited by Frederick E. Rugg and is widely used by admissions counselors, parents and students. It is available in bookstores nationwide.
