This is the second consecutive year Elon has been ranked as one of the most prolific colleges in the nation in producing Broadway performers.
Once again, Playbill has recognized Elon University as one of the most represented colleges on Broadway. Elon was given an honorable mention on this year’s iteration that recognizes colleges and universities with the most alumni performing on Broadway as part of Playbill’s “Back to School Week” series.
This is Elon’s second consecutive year being mentioned on the list, following three straight years from 2016-17 to 2018-19 of being recognized.
Playbill looked at every actor who performed in a Broadway show from May 5, 2022, through April 27, 2023, which runs from the deadline for Tony Awards eligibility for last season to the same for this season.
