Elon Volunteers! is hosting our monthly Institute for Civic and Community Engagement on Thursday, Nov. 9, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in McKinnon Hall
Each month is framed by one of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and features a speaker from the community or campus on the topic. For November’s Institute we are focusing on goal 4, “Quality Education.” John Pickett, Director of Elon Academy, will present on local efforts for college access and success. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about education in both a global and local context.
There will be food and a raffle for a $25 Irazu gift card and $25 Oak House gift card.
