Elon Volunteers! is hosting its monthly Institute for Civic and Community Engagement on Thursday, March 7 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Moseley 215.
Each month is framed by one of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and features a speaker from the community or campus on the topic. For March Institute we are focusing on goal 3, “Good Health and Well-being.” Megan Curling, Elon Year of Service Fellow at Cone Health and Alamance Regional Medical Center, will present on local efforts to promote health and health equity. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about health and well-being in both a global and local context.
There will be food and a raffle for a $25 Target and $25 Oak House gift card.
Please RSVP if you are available and interested in attending. Email nmcginty@elon.edu with any questions.
