President Connie Ledoux Book shared the following message to the university community on Monday, Aug. 26, as classes for the 2024-25 academic year got underway.
Dear Elon Students, Staff and Faculty,
The academic year will be fully underway tomorrow as we begin classes.
Our Boldly Elon pillar of Thrive inspired me this year to send you a video message that showcases the many ways in which Elon is committed to sustainable and healthy practices in our programs, physical spaces and community. The video also includes updates on new roles, curricular initiatives and facilities that will continue to enhance our university community.
As you go about your work and your classes this year, remember that to thrive means not just to grow and develop, but to flourish as you share your talents and skills. I hope this year will be one in which we all thrive!
