Astro/Physics Tea gathering welcomes student clubs

Weekly meetings in the Department of Physics and Astronomy returned with a special focus on student clubs.

The newly renamed Department of Physics and Astronomy greeted the beginning of the school year with the return of the weekly Astro/Physics Tea gathering.

The first Tea of the new year featured representatives from student clubs, including the Society of Physics Students, Astronomy Club, Rocket Phoenix, Phoenix Racing Team, oSTEM, Undergraduate Research Student Association and E2 Elon Engineers. Students interested in learning more about these clubs can go to PhoenixConnect to learn more.

Hosted weekly by the Department of Physics and Astronomy, Astro/Physics Tea promises engaging discussions, thought-provoking ideas and a delightful spread of refreshments. Open to all students, faculty and staff, this gathering is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow physics aficionados in a relaxed and informal setting. Meetings take place in the third-floor lounge of Innovation Hall at 3:20 p.m. on Wednesdays.
