Five faculty members were honored on Monday, Aug. 19, for their excellent work in Elon College, the College of Arts & Sciences.  

Faculty members were recognized on Aug. 20 for excellence in mentoring, service and leadership, teaching and scholarship. 

Sharon Spray and Laura Roselle of Elon's Department of Political Science and Policy Studies authored "Research & Writing in Comparative Politics," which was published in January 2015.

Faculty members Angela Lewellyn Jones, Beth Warner and Pam Kiser have had two publications on social entrepreneurship and service-learning.

Anne Bolin was invited to organize and co-chair a symposium titled "Issues in Teaching Human Sexuality: Sexual Orientations" at the Annual Meetings of the Society for Applied Anthropology in Merida, Mexico, from March 24-27.

Anne Bolin presented work titled “Secret Sexual Places as Sites of Embodied Renovation” at the Annual Meetings of the Society for Applied Anthropology in Santa Fe, N.M. from March 17-21.
