School of Communications converts to high definition, tapeless environment

The School of Communications at Elon University has updated its technology to include high definition equipment and a tapeless environment. Computers, cameras and an entire studio that has been rewired for high definition encompass the largest technology initiative at Elon since the School of Communications moved to McEwen in 2000.

Max Negin, an assistant professor in the School of Communications, won a 2010 National Academy of Arts & Sciences Sports Emmy Award for his work as part of the studio team for NBC’s coverage of the XXI Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, Canada.
