Business students deliver donations to local shelter

Students in professor Betsy Stevens' Business Communication class helped deliver 10 boxes of food to the Allied Churches of Alamance County facility on Monday, March 8th.

Members of Elon’s Beta Alpha Psi chapter traveled to the national accounting and finance organization’s South Eastern Regional Conference held February 19-20 in Orlando, Florida.

Elon MBA students and alums enjoy Cocktails & A Musical event

More than 60 Elon MBA students, alums and faculty came out to the third annual Cocktails & A Musical event on Saturday, February 13, at the McCrary Theatre. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres were followed a performance of the musical “110 in the Shade.” The evening was sponsored by the Elon MBA Student-Alumni Association.

Bill Gradison, a founding member and former chair of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), will be speaking about the response of accountants and auditors to the current financial environment on Monday, February 15, at 8:00 pm in the LaRose Digital Theatre. Mr. Gradison’s presentation is sponsored by Beta Alpha Psi, the accounting and finance honorary organization.
Tina Das elected to board of Omicron Delta Epsilon

Tina Das, professor of economics in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, was recently elected vice president and member of the board of directors of the International Economics Honor Society Omicron Delta Epsilon (ODE). Professor Das is the faculty advisor to the Pi Chapter of ODE at Elon University and was elected to this position during the American Economic Association national meeting held in Atlanta, January 2010.
