Composting at Farewell Picnic and Community on the Commons on Aug. 25 diverted more than 2,000 pounds of waste from the landfill.

The farmer's market is from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. April 18 at the lawn next to Elon Community Church, corner of W. College Ave. and Williamson Ave.

 

 

The movie is showing at 7 p.m. April 15 in Lakeside Meeting Rooms.

In a move that was good for the university and for the planet, tankless hot water heaters were installed on several residence halls in August 2012. This shift away from the 1940’s boiler system resulted in significant energy, water and monetary savings.
