Jen Roberts, a third-year physical therapy student at Elon, traveled to Haiti in July to work with Hands of Light in Action, a nonprofit relief organization that recruits physical therapy practitioners and students to help with recovery efforts in disaster-stricken areas. Jim Schlossnagle ’92 named college baseball’s national coach of the year

The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association has voted Texas Christian University head coach Jim Schlossnagle '92 its national coach of the year. Schlossnagle, in his seventh season coaching the Horned Frogs, guided the team to a 51-12 record, its fifth consecutive Mountain West Conference regular-season title and its first berth in the College World Series.
