Members of the Religious Studies department participated in and presented their research at the annual meetings of the American Academy of Religion and the Society of Biblical Literature in Atlanta, GA, Nov. 20-23.

Faculty from the Religious Studies Department will be participating in the Annual Meetings of the American Academy of Religion, International Association for Qur’anic Studies and the Society of Biblical Literature Nov. 21-25 in San Diego, Calif.

Associate Professor of Religious Studies, Lynn R. Huber, was invited by the Norwegian Institute in Rome to share her work as part of a workshop on "Political, ideological, and cognitive entailments of marriage symbolism in medieval Europe.

Elon Religious Studies faculty attended and participated in the 2013 Annual Meetings of the American Academy of Religion, Society of Biblical Literature, and International Qur'anic Studies Association held Nov 22-26 in Baltimore, MD.

Elon's Center for the Study of Religion, Culture, and Society hosts the 2013 conference of the South Atlantic States Association for Asian and African Studies.

Associate Professor of Religious Studies Lynn R. Huber participated in the Colloquium on Material Culture and Ancient Religion's travel seminar on "Navigating the Boundaries of Roman Macedonia."
