Assistant Professor Aunchalee Palmquist and Elon graduate Molly O’Brien published a chapter in "Community Health Narratives: A Reader", edited by Emily Mendenhall and Kathy Wollner.

Elon senior public health studies major Catherine Palmer and Assistant Professor Aunchalee Palmquist presented their research in March at the 10th annual Breastfeeding and Feminism International Conference. 

Aunchalee Palmquist, assistant professor of sociology and anthropology, and Kirsten Doehler, assistant professor of statistics, presented preliminary findings from Palmquists's study of milk sharing at the annual Breastfeeding and Feminism International Conference in Chapel Hill, N.C. in March.

Aunchalee Palmquist, an assistant professor of anthropology, was awarded a post-Ph.D. grant from the Wenner-Gren Foundation to aid research on "Taking Milk from Strangers: An Anthropological Study of Internet Breast Milk Sharing in the U.S."
